Moon River

Moon river, wider than a mile
I’m crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you’re goin’, I’m goin’ your way

Two drifters, off to see the world
There’s such a lot of world to see
We’re after the same rainbow’s end, waitin’ ’round the bend
My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me

(moon river, wider than a mile)
(I’m crossin’ you in style some day)
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you’re goin’, I’m goin’ your way

Two drifters, off to see the world
There’s such a lot of world to see
We’re after that same rainbow’s end, waitin’ ’round the bend
My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me

i’ve always wondered… what it is about this song that so many people (particularly women) love? i have a feeling it has largely to do with Breakfast @ Tiffany’s

The image of Audrey Hepburn at the fire escape holding a guitar and singing those dreamy,, melodic lines – yeah, that’s a big factor. Every damsel in distress wants saving, I guess.

But the truth is, I’m just trying an audio plugin that didn’t work; the player’s supposed to be above the lyrics but it’s so far invisible. He he ;)
